It Snowed Last Night

We woke up to a little bit of snow on the ground and on the housetops. After packing lunches and finding mittens and hats and boots, we headed out to the car and found a most excellent suprise:

Nathan had started my car and was scraping all the windows. It was a beautiful sight. You have no idea how many times last year I would just hop in the car, turn on the windshield wipers, and hope for the best.... Isn't he great!

Does this seem a little early for snow, to you? The weather man says there may be more snow this evening, but the sun is out now and soon the first snow will be gone... Looks like a day for a good book and a mug of cocoa.

Brrr. I like snow-- when it stays up on the mountains where I can play in it, but away from my house, where it shouldn't be.

I'm SO glad I live in SoCal right now.

That is awesome that Nathan did that for you! I remember the mornings of snow covered cars.....so glad to be in the land of sunshine again! But your right, it does sound like your day calls for a nice warm mug of cocoa (with marshmellows!). enjoy!

Hi Wendy! Scott started the car for me too. So nice!
I just finished a cup of hot chocolate.
Yea, the snow seems kinda early, but this IS South Dakota.

Yikes! Snow already! Does that make you feel Christmassy? Randy took a bunch of cocoa packets and a big mug to work this morning - he's been craving it since the weather cooled down. I'm more of an apple cider kind of gal :)
