Fun Wedding Cake!
Polly's Cakes in Hood River, Oregon makes the coolest cakes. I want to know how to do this. It is so great. I'm not sure how often I will need one of these cakes, though.
My sister is taking a cake decorating class. I wonder where you find cake decorating classes. At a bakery?

The county fair is next week and we are gathering a few odds and ends to enter. Nathan is entering the rocking horse and a bowl. Hannah is entering a pillow that she lach-hooked. Sydney is entering a hot pad and a painting. Emily is entering a melted plastic bead heart thingy. We are all very excited about it. It is time to read Charlotte's Web.

Wendy, I love that you guys are entering things in the fair. Just like Heather did! So what are YOU entering? Next year I think I'll enter something or other in ours. Maybe I'll get my Wallaby sweater done in time if I get going on it. I didn't get over to the building that housed the Open Class things at our fair this year but I understand it was a nice display. P.S. Your new animal is cute! What happened to the duck? Mom
Hey, the new format looks great! I love that cake too. The class I'm going to take is at a Joann's store, but I've heard you can take them at Micheal's too. Who knows what kind of stuff they actually teach you? We shall see.
Good luck with your fair entries!
Hey Wendy, like the new set-up! I love the cake too, from what I've heard fondant is quite easy to work with, but probably hard to make it look good. I'll have to look into it, because I'd love to see how it's done.

Community Colleges often have cake decoration classes :o)

Cake decorating sounds fun, delicious and lots of calories.
Michaels or Hobby Lobby has cake decorating classes.... or if you have someone talented in your ward, put a buzz in your Enrichment Counselor's ear. hehehe
