To Do

Good Morning! It is time to get going. No more Miss lazy bonez. Here's what I need to do today:
(Checking in at 10am and 2:30pm and 7pm to cross off a few items)

Take girls to school
Go running
Shower
Make my bed
Clean bathrooms
Sweep
Laundry
Arrange Emily and John's room
Play trains with John
Read to John
Take a nap
Walk back over and pick up kids
Survive homework - mostly, han is still finishing up her math
Plant a pineapple

Not a bad day - finished everything (but the nap) on my list, and a few more things as well (including learning how to make that line through a word). Soon the kids will finish up their icecream and start getting ready for bed.

What's on your list today?

Well, I can honestly say that planting a pineapple was not on my agenda for the day!!!

I have to clean the house (an ongoing to do" of course), my visiting teachers are coming today, then I'm taking "D" to the dentist today to get sealants.

I love making lists too! It always helps me to feel more productive to check something off. :)

I am taking dinner to my visiting teachee/primary secretary. She just had boy #3. Regular readers of my blog know that I don't cook, so this is kinda funny.
My dad suggested I take over a pizza. AS IF!

PRESENTATION IS EVERYTHING!
I talked my mom into making some stew. I bought a cute red cannister to put it in. I bought some yummy bread from Great Harvest Bread company and a brand new Red Ladle, some salad, and cookies. All of this I'm taking over in a new picnic basket. All the items are for her to keep. The last thing a new mom needs to worrry about is returning Tupperware! Am I right? Or am I right?!

How very fun, planting a pineapple. I will definitely have to try that the next time we buy a pineapple.

How very generous of you a payne. Lucky new mom!

A Payne - That sounds so lovely! And thoughtful. She is going to love it - especially since she doesn't have to wash your things and get them back to you.

Erin - you'll do great. Go Erin!

I've had this pineapple top sitting in the kitchen for a couple of weeks. I must plant it or Sydney will be mad.

Let's see, today I swept and cleaned the wood floors, cleaned the 1/2 bath and went to Sam's club. It seems like I did so much more!

I want to know if that pineapple planting works. It is so "tropical" here in the summer that we may just try that.

Erin, good luck on your test! I'm sure you have studied and will do fine. Have you looked at cadavers yet?

A Payne, that is an amazing baby-meal! I would have loved the pizza after our son (seriously, how many chicken casseroles can one family go through?), but the presentation of your stew is awesome! Cute idea.

I'm impressed! Good job with getting everything (minus the nap) accomplished!!!

Let's see....I have done 1.5 loads of laundry, cleaned my room, cleaned 2 bathrooms and the kitchen! Not bad eh? :)

By the way...how exactly do you do the strikethrough thing???

You type an s in between <> before the word, and /s between the <> things after the word that you want the line through. Does that make sense?

yes....thanks! I just love new tricks!!
