Look over here! Aloha Everyone! I hope you had a Mele Kalikimaka and that you are having a very Hau'oli Makahiki Hou.
Our household goods arrived on Friday (carried in by 3 big - actually 2 big and one rather skinny - hawaiian guys) and our internet was hooked up yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon. I got all of one hour on the 'net before Nathan got home and hogged it for the rest of the night. I'm not sure, but don'cha think blogging should take priority over silly old job certification stuff?
We are loving this Island Life. Here is a little of what we have been up to:
Kissing on Waikiki Beach
Watching the huge waves on the North Shore
Beautiful Sunsets
Catching a Wave
(just kidding, those are some huge 20 foot waves up on the North Shore. Our favorite beginner's beach is in a "high crime area" so we haven't taken the fancy camera with us, and plus, we aren't that good...yet....)
Climbing our Banyan Tree
Scuba Diving
Throwing Rocks
What a fun time! Watch for these, and other, upcoming Blog Articles:
Surfing with Jesus

How fun! Just about every day I mention to Randy that we, indeed, will visit you guys while you are there. You mention the flight being long, but I think it is only double what we normally do from here to Utah, not bad then, right? haha
I'm muy impressed with you posting a picture of yourself in a swimsuit :) All of those pictures are so great! Congrats on being certified to scuba dive. The banyan tree is awesome!
Yeah for a new blog entry from you!
Hey Wendy, so glad to read your update! We are wanting to visit next Christmas. I need to look into SCUBA lessons, and swim lessons for the kids.
Glad your back!
Heather
Yipee....a new blog post from Wendy!!! I've been checking everyday and finally the efforts have paid off!!! So glad to hear (and see!) that you are settling into your new island life. Scuba lessons huh? Way cool!!! You'll have to get a disposable underwater camera and take some pics for us! Anyway, so glad your back and can't wait for more posts! :)
Yay for Hawaiian Living.
I'm happy to see you enjoying every minute!!!!
Your back!!! I am so excited to hear from you again. Seeing your pictures makes me miss your family. What fun you are having. Scuba diving, surfing, and your upcoming blogs sound fun.
I finally got called to Primary. I am not sure what took so long. I will be teaching nursery. I am excited, though I was enjoying Sunday School and Relief Society.
Mary - you should come, maybe you could work the trip where you go to Utah for a couple days then fly on to Hawaii. But maybe it's better to just have one stinkin' long day flying and get it over with. I think part of the long day for us was all the emotional stuff with the move.
Heather - Christmas! cool! Swim lessons, hmmm, maybe my kids should do some of those, too.
Deanne - I'm glad you're still checking. I have a few minutes now and I am going to go do some blog hopping, too. An underwater camera is a great idea.
Hi Donna!
Amanda - What? You don't miss us every single day? Last night I thought of your husband - I was at church while Hannah was at YW, and the Bishop and his counselors walked by all dressed in flip-flops, shorts, and "aloha" shirts - while your husband always goes on Wednesdays in a suit. It made me smile to think about how casual everything is here. I have been subbing in Primary, but not called yet. This Sunday is Stake Conference, so probably the next week... miss you.
Hey Donna - hope you will read this over here... I was over at Quiet Life and I wanted to post a little comment, but I can't. Is it turned off? Or is it me? I wanna streak too.
Yay!!! I was so excited to see a new post on your blog today! Your pictures look great and it looks like you're having a fantastic time!
Hopefully, you guys are settled in. I can't wait to read your upcoming posts! :D
I am soooo loving the pics and can't wait to hear some of your stories about island life.
Glad to have you back!!
I am so jealous of your new life I can hardly stand it. You and your kids look like you are loving it! Love the new profile pic! Woot!
Looks lovely, I have never lived on an island but it sure looks great!
Can't wait for your upcoming blog articles, they sound terrific!
WOW!!! AWESOME!!

Surfing with Jesus, ah, interesting.
