Night Ray

This is a short video of a Manta Ray during our night dive. Last one, for reals this time!

Wow! That is so cool! I'm really impressed you were brave enough to go in the ocean at night, knowing you would be seeing those HUGE rays. Were they all that big? WOW!

Your dive posts are so cool! And your pictures are so cool and fun too! How fun that you and Nathan could spend this special time together. :) I think I would be too freaked out to dive at night. Eeeeek! What if something sneaks up on you?!?

By the way, it is really cold here back in Rapid City. In fact I am thinking about being brave enough to walk outside and get some wood to start a fire in the fireplace. It is only 46. I'm such a wimp. I am not looking forward to lower temps ahead. Can I come to Hawaii for the winter?

Mary - that was a big one, as were most of them, though there were some smaller (around 6 feet across) babies.

Amanda - come on over. It is warm here. I thought it might be a little chilly this morning, so I wore a long sleeve shirt, but now I'm HOT! must go change. A fire sounds cozy!

NCS - whew - I'm glad I didn't have to draw it!

Very cool, but honestly, I can't handle night dives. Just too scary, though you see the best stuff that way.
