Everyone looked marvelous! What a fun Halloween you must have had. I can't believe that Emily and Lindsey & Rand's outfits were so alike. Cute. I loved all the costumes. Mom
Amanda - it was nice not to have to worry about frost bite, but we had a huge rainstorm! and got soaked! Trunk or treating was brought inside...
nikko - I made the vest for emily (the skirt I made a few years ago). The princess dress from Ever After for Sydney (it was fun to sew the over layer - it was like sewing the emperor's new clothes). We used some sweats for John, but I cut out the bones from sticky felt. And I sewed Hannah's stinkin' flapper costume (that was the #1 worst fabric I've ever sewn.) But it looked cute on her. That's what matters. I (mostly) love Halloween sewing!
I love the costumes! it took me a bit to get who Sydney was but the link was helpfull! Hannah looks so elegant in her costume! Everyone looks great! love you! o did you even make Johns? if so woowee!
Wendy, What is it with the flapper costume this year? I also made one and I agree, I hate that fabric. It was also so thin that I had to line it. I'll have to see if I can get my daughter to stand still long enough to take a picture of her in it. :o(
Did you put the three rows of fringe on too? Another thing I don't want to try again any time soon!
You have beautiful children and I love all the costumes!
