It was fun to see all the kids wanting pictures with their friends, but I was surprised by the huge turn out. Taking the photos was a breeze compared to the editing. Not that the photos really needed much editing, just a bit of cropping, a little contrast adjust, and some unsharp mask, but I spent the entire "rain day" working on it and was left with a sore right arm from all that mouse clicking... wa. There must be an easier way...
Here are two of my favorite buddies:

ps - rain rain go away
pps - the PX was flooded and is closed due to the damage.
ppps - I can't wait to show you pictures of our Christmas Tree!

Cute pics Wendy! :) I think my kids would look the same as yours....silly and fun!
Cuties! I would love to see some rain in place of the snow! I am trying to be grateful that we will have water in the spring in summer thanks to the snow.
Hi Wendy,
It was a lot of fun catching up on your blog. I've been away from the blogging world for awhile.
I hope the rain stops eventually for you. I didn't know that you could get that much water and still drive, amazing! I feel so bad for those gate guards!!! Ours have been standing outiside in -17 degrees.
Merry Christmas!
Mary
Once the commissary flooded in Germany and the base firemen carried everyone's groceries out to their cars in their tall boots. Good thing you have a big car...
Hey Wendy. I have a question for you. My parents and I are planning to meet in Hawaii in March. I am trying to find some lodging that doesn't break our bank! :) I sort of remembered Mary talking about you renting a cabin? condo? Something out on the base. Do you know what I am talking about? lol If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them. Navy Lodge isn't allowing us to make reservations until 60 days within arrival. Please help if you have any ideas! Thanks. Feel free to email ( sorry for the book on here) it's hecimommy@gmail.com
I love those kids - and am glad they are buddies. Cute pictures.
