I am working on the yearbook for our elementary school this year. The project for last week was Buddy Pictures. For just one dollar, you too could be in the school yearbook with a friend. We took over 200 pictures and most of them turned out great!

It was fun to see all the kids wanting pictures with their friends, but I was surprised by the huge turn out. Taking the photos was a breeze compared to the editing. Not that the photos really needed much editing, just a bit of cropping, a little contrast adjust, and some unsharp mask, but I spent the entire "rain day" working on it and was left with a sore right arm from all that mouse clicking... wa. There must be an easier way...

Here are two of my favorite buddies:

ps - rain rain go away

pps - the PX was flooded and is closed due to the damage.

ppps - I can't wait to show you pictures of our Christmas Tree!

Cuties! I would love to see some rain in place of the snow! I am trying to be grateful that we will have water in the spring in summer thanks to the snow.

Hi Wendy,
It was a lot of fun catching up on your blog. I've been away from the blogging world for awhile.
I hope the rain stops eventually for you. I didn't know that you could get that much water and still drive, amazing! I feel so bad for those gate guards!!! Ours have been standing outiside in -17 degrees.
Merry Christmas!

Once the commissary flooded in Germany and the base firemen carried everyone's groceries out to their cars in their tall boots. Good thing you have a big car...

Hey Wendy. I have a question for you. My parents and I are planning to meet in Hawaii in March. I am trying to find some lodging that doesn't break our bank! :) I sort of remembered Mary talking about you renting a cabin? condo? Something out on the base. Do you know what I am talking about? lol If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them. Navy Lodge isn't allowing us to make reservations until 60 days within arrival. Please help if you have any ideas! Thanks. Feel free to email ( sorry for the book on here) it's
