Here's what I still need to do:
hem the dress
cut off some of the sash length and finish the edges
unpick a couple of stay stitch lines that are showing
sew on a hook and eye
That's all!
Here's a preview - keep in mind I am planning to shorten the sash...
This first photo is in the early dress making stages - the skirt was A-line at that point. We decided to make the skirt straight - you can see that in the next photo...
I'm not sure what I did, but I think my camera angle is kind of odd in this photo - oh well.... you can see the straight skirt, and the pink sash and the cute little cap sleeves.
Isn't the bow cute? And the little train? And look how perfectly the little v's lined up along the zipper. You can't see the zipper because it is invisible! wahaha....
We found some costume jewelry at an antique store in town for Hannah to wear. This is a lovely earring and necklace set with rhinestones and pearls. The earrings kind of screw on. I thought I took a picture of the little train pinned up in the back, but I guess not. We found a rhinestone pin that she is using to pin the train up for dancing - so cute...
More photos tomorrow!

The dress is beautiful and like Erin said, Hannah is beautiful too. It's fun seeing Syd there helping. I hope all is going well with the Prom date tonight.
