Nathan and a Green Sea Turtle
Nathan made me take out my breathing thing to smile for the picture, but look, he didn't take out his!
We had a great visit. We were able to take him diving and out to dinner, but the temple closes at 1pm on Saturday so we didn't get to go there. Next time!
I was glad that he didn't make me delete my blog. He did say I shouldn't write about troop strength and stuff like that. (Sorry North Korea) I don't think the kids scared him too bad, because he said he hopes to stop by next time he heads to the mainland.
There's no hiding your secrets from this guy. We pretended we were all good Mormon's, but he knows the truth now. We got up this morning and fixed a big pancake breakfast and cinnamon rolls and "forgot" all about Fast Sunday. Whoops!

LOL! Sounds like a great breakfast! At least you didn't give him cold cereal. If you are going to eat on Fast Sunday it might as well be a yummy feast. Glad you had fun and that he didn't arrest you for blogging too many secrets. Your scuba diving pictures are way cool.
Today you missed Scott walking quickly from the stand in the middle of fast and testimony meeting to go hurl in the bathroom. He apparantly barely made it in time. :( Thankfully he didn't have to throw up in the sacrament preparation room. That would be something to talk about!
Sounds like a fun visit. Did he mind the twin size bed? The scuba pictures are neat-o.
Amanda-wow, exciting Sac. meeting. That will be one you'll remember for a while.
Heather
I love those pictures, that turtle shot is amazing.
ITA with Amanda and forgetting fast Sunday, at least you did it the right way.
I have nothing to report about our Sacrament, no exciting stories at all.
Love, love, love the suba pics!!! Did you get certified for suba before you moved? (guess that's a silly question since you probably didn't live near water or a place to do that sort of thing in SD)
Amanda - Oh no! Sorry he's not feeling good. I'm glad I didn't give him my tithing and shake his hand today, though!
Heather - he laughed at my entry about buying a new bed and getting all worried about the visit.
NCS - he has a cool underwater camera. I NEED one of those. That turtle was very cool!
Deanne - I got certified the week after Christmas as my Christmas gift. Scuba is fun!
It is so neat to see you having so much fun in Hawaii!
When you saw that turtle, did you say, "Awsome dude!"
Fun! I can't see the turtle picture, so I'll try back again. But the others are great - love the underwater shot. IN the top pic Nate looks younger - is it hanging out with all the army guys that has done it? The shortie hair?
Sorry North Korea, haha! You are hilarious!
wow, that is beautiful! Sounds like you had a fun weekend with your friend.
We sometimes forget fast sunday too but this month we remembered!
Donna took my line! It's Crush!!!
At least your children know what Fast Sunday is.
I haven't really broken the news to them yet. (My oldest is six) If I eat or don't eat isn't noticed by them. I'm going to have to start broaching the topic. Hey! Now I have something for FHE!
So how can you smile nicely like that with your teeth and not get a mouthful of water? You must be pretty talented.
Those are such fun pictures. You will have such wonderful memories to look back on! :)
Those are gorgeous pictures! What kind of camera did you use? Fed guy looks very scary (not).
Glad you had a good weekend, you fast-skipper, you. ;)
Donna - First you were all like "whoa", and we were like "whoa", and you were like "whoa..."
Mary - he's working out every day and has lost some weight (his new suit is getting all loose on him. He looks hot!
TXmommy - I don't know why it is so easy to forget - we talked about it on Saturday, and then totally forgot by the morning.
Elizabeth - I think we will talk about fast sunday for FHE, too.
Suzanne - I was just holding my breath - just for a minute, but then I started to freak out so I put that breathing thing back in my mouth.
Millie - our friend has a nice little under-water digital camera - it looks like a regular little digital camera encased in a plastic cover. It works on dry land too. I might have to ask for one for my birthday.
