It was a little bit cold, so Emily and Sydney warmed up in the sand.

There they are, all sandy!
I'm hate to admit it, but my surfing skills have not improved.

It was just a little chilly. In the low 70's with a light breeze and occasionaly sprinkles. But the water felt good. It cracks me up how 70 feels cool.
My kids have only been to the Ocean once but they loved it can't wait to go back again someday. It looks like your kids were having a great time.
I agree with NCS, I didn't know it got cold in Hawaii. :D Sounds like you had fun anyway. Do you remember that day we went boating at Sheridan Lake and it was cold? I think it was only in the 60's that day. brrrr Do you remember when the bishop had to take his shirt off to jump in the water to rescue his hat and how he made Sarah crash because he was trying to find his hat? Someday it will be warm enough for that again.
