Our preschool group took a field trip into the jungle today.

This jungly park is right in the middle of our little town. It is one of our favorite places to take a quick picnic. It has a lot of interesting vegetation and some trails that are just the right length for a few 4 year old boys. If you decide to explore Wahaiwa Botanical Garden, don't forget your camera or your mosquito repellent.

Really big rocks and really big leaves.
That does sound exciting for little boys :o)
Throw in a few colorful birds and i would be happy too :o)
How fun! I love that first picture - the boys' expressions are hilarious (especially John's!) That looks like a perfect outting.
What a fun place. Looks like a fun group of boys. Have you decided what to do next year about preschool?

Looks beautiful! What a fun outing.
Donna - we saw a chicken - does that count?
Heather - I haven't decided. waaa!
Looks very cool.....gotta admit, we had the chance to join you there and we declined....deployment just is not in our future. As much as I would love Hawaii, I do not want to love it alone....so I shall enjoy it from afar via your blog.....
How you holding up? Things settling in for you? I know I have been absent, having surgery and a bad recovery does that to you, hope to try to keep up better, atleast until HE comes home, less then a month now, hard to believe it's been 15 months....ugh!
Looks like you're having waaaaay too much fun on that island of yours! :)
that place looks cool. That first pic is priceless. I live 5 minutes from there and have never been.so typical of me.
wow, thats a lot of green! it must be hard to be SO far from family, but surely the setting must help to take your mind off of it a bit.
Great pictures! The first one is especially hilarious. I love the faces they're making!
