If kids are part of the plan, now is better than later. Life is so fragile.<br />During WWII many men were away a couple of years. They left the states when the financial situation, the Depression, was still difficult. Many had already postponed having kids, so there was a big boom in the late '40's early '50's. Then it it slowed down. <br />There also may be some women who look at the babies as "company."
